Home Remedies for Hair Growth

Are you one of those having hair growth problems? Are you also one of those who have tried various products just to improve the growth of your hair? If you’ve been frustrated for quite some time now in trying to find the best solutions to your hair woes, how about going the natural route?

Yes, there are natural remedies available and these are the same ones that your grandma has taught your mothers. They have been found to be effective in enhancing the condition of one’s scalp and hair. And the best thing about these remedies is that you don’t have to spend so much just to get them.

It’s time you learn what these natural home remedies are and what the ingredients you will need. You can use them on your scalp and hair on a regular basis to gain the benefits.

Regular massaging of the scalp stimulates the hair follicles and enhances blood circulation. This promotes healthy hair growth so make sure to massage your head at least 10 minutes each day. Use the balls of your fingers and make gentle motions.

Rosemary is known to improve the quality of hair by opening the scalp’s blocked pores. Just mix one-half cup of rosemary with one cup of water and then mix the solution to half the amount of your shampoo. Use this mixture to clean your head in the same way that you use a shampoo.

Another option is to boil rosemary leaves in water and then use the liquid in washing your hair every day. You can also spray the liquid to your hair every morning. Rosemary helps in fighting dandruff which causes hair loss.

A combination of coconut oil, olive oil and castor oil is also an old remedy. Heat the solution and then apply it on your hair roots. After application, massage your head gently to stimulate the hair follicles.

Aloe vera is an effective plant when it comes to promoting hair growth. If you have this at home, get one leaf and then peel off the skin. You will see the gel-like substance inside and that is what you will apply to your hair. Massage it on your scalp and leave for 10 minutes or even overnight before rinsing.

Coconut milk can also be used as is. Apply on scalp, massage gently and rinse or leave it on your head for 10 to 15 minutes.

Apple vinegar can be used to rinse hair. All you have to do is mix one liter of cold water and one teaspoon of apple vinegar. The solution not only helps improve the hair’s condition but makes it shine as well.

Lemon juice is a common remedy. This can be mixed with egg and beaten before applying on hair or mixed with curd and mustard oil. Leave it for about half an hour and then rinse well. Lemon is ideal for those with oily hair.

For dandruff plagued scalp, add three to four drops of tea tree oil to a small amount of shampoo and use this to clean your hair.
